CUSTOM MOTORCYCLE COMPETITION

Eight countries. Eight teams. One global challenge.

Triumph Originals is a new challenge to Triumph teams around the world to create the most original and iconic custom build inspired by the theme: Icons of British Originality.

Collaborating with a locally chosen custom house each team will build a one-off customised Bonneville to showcase their innovative design, build technique and craftsmanship.

Once completed, it will be your vote that helps decide which one takes the title of Triumph Original 2025.

From Hollywood to the catwalk and Bond to Beckham, the Bonneville’s cultural legacy spans film, fashion, music and beyond.

And within a thriving custom community its combination of classic design and modern engineering has been the perfect platform for decades of reimagination and creative expression.

With the choice of any model from the Bonneville family as the foundation, Triumph Originals invites our eight teams to create a custom masterpiece that balances art and engineering, and their own unique interpretation of British style.

HOW IT WORKS

Bold builds. Expert judging. Your say.

Each of the participating Triumph markets has selected a Bonneville model and partnered with a leading custom motorcycle builder.

Together, they’ve designed a completely original custom build — inspired by the theme: Icons of British Originality.

Their custom Bonnevilles will be revealed in June 2025 and judged by a panel of design and cultural experts.

Five finalists will then go to a public vote, with both scores combined to decide the ultimate winner:

JUDGING CRITERIA

Each build will be assessed against five key qualities

Iconic Style - Does the build stand out for its overall visual impact and originality?

British Originality - How well does it interpret the theme through a cultural or creative lens?

Creativity & Innovation - Is the concept fresh, and does it push design or engineering boundaries?

Craftsmanship - How well is the bike built? Consideration to materials, finish, and detail.

The Ride - How does the build perform and how does it make you feel on the road?

A cultural and custom icon for over 60 years.

From the earliest café racers to today’s one-off builds, the Bonneville has inspired generations of riders, creators and builders to make their mark — supported by a thriving community of parts makers, customisers and cultural collaborators.

Reintroduced in 2000, the modern Bonneville range brought this legacy into the 21st century. Engineered with performance, style and individuality in mind, it continues to blend iconic design cues with contemporary rideability and finish.

Today, the Bonneville remains one of the most customisable motorcycles on the road — a timeless canvas for creativity, self-expression and originality.
